Total Heat Recovery

25-Nov-2010 TOTAL HEAT RECOVERY

The need to reduce our energy consumption is still a hot topic and one that is very much at the top of our list.

Many systems that could take advantage of Heat Recovery don't as the traditional heat recovery system is exactly what it says, a system that recovers heat from another process. In this case the cooling/heating process, therefore when there is no cooling/heating demand there is no heat recovery.

This situation in many systems could be a dis-advantage if you are relying on Hot water for a different process. This is where the Multifunction unit comes into its own. If there is a cooling/heating demand then we have rejected heat to recover and then utlised elsewhere, if there is no cooling/heating demand but a demand for Hot water the unit will still satisfy the demand and produce Hot Water mechancially.
