Low Operating Costs

Enjoy energy savings when heating and cooling are required simultaneously in different zones. There are two basic types of VRF systems: Cooling/heating only (can cool or heat with a heat pump, but not at the same time) and energy recovery, which provides cooling and heating simultaneously, if required, to different parts of the building.

Maximum energy savings are available from the energy recovery VRF versions. A heat recovery system transfers the heat extracted from spaces that require cooling to areas that need heating. This means low operating costs, with VRF systems consisting of a number of air handling units (up to 48) which are connected to a modular external condensing unit so you achieve energy efficient air conditioning into all your building.

Flexibility

VRF provides great flexibility as there are many types of air handling units available. They do not need an internal plant room space. VRF systems are proving extremely popular owing to their flexibility.

You can mix a range of indoor models (e.g. floor, wall, ceiling mounted and ducted units) with the correctly rated outdoor unit so that your VRF system can be used in a range of building types. Applications vary from office, retail, hotel, luxury apartments, industrial, new and retrofitted buildings.

VRF systems also offer space saving features in a modular format so they are easier to design and install, with an option of phased installations as well as a range of controllers to provide operators with the control they seek and desire. These include wireless controllers and software controllers to be used in conjunction with your computer.
