Saving energy and running costs is a major aim for most organisations in today’s economy. It is vitally important that cold or hot air is not let into or out of a room if you are paying for air conditioning; so air curtains are important for larger premises.

Some areas, by their very nature, need to have open doors to invite people into their premises or just because they have lots of people arriving and departing. The escape of air conditioning is a problem often encountered in factories, shopping centres, retail outlets, foyers in offices and hotels, cold rooms and warehouses and so in such places air curtains will provide a major benefit to saving fuel costs.

Air curtains help to control the flow or air and provide insulation to rooms, so providing an environmental benefit. Air curtains may be unheated or heated using gas, electric, hot water or steam.

You can stop flies, flying insects and even rodents from entering a building by using air curtains. As air curtains supply a constant barrier of air across a door opening insects and rodents will be less likely to cross such thresholds, an especially important feature for hotels and restaurants.

Unusual buildings can benefit from our specially designed air curtains, which will take into account ceiling systems or bulkheads. Most air curtains are mounted on the outside or inside the doorway (if to control flies this is best installed outside the doorway to create a barrier). For industrial applications, if over door installation is not practical, we will vertically mount air curtains at the side or sides of the door.

Remote control panels are supplied with air curtains, to reduce wiring and make installation easier.
