Y Series (4-6hp)

The latest in Mitsubishi Electric R410A Y Series technology. The new City Multi models allow up to 12 indoor units to be connected to a single outdoor unit, using the standard branch/header pipework system proven in the larger models. Utilising the latest Mitsubishi Electric inverter technology, the system is fully controllable with all City Multi controllers or linked to third party BEMS.
  • A two core non-polar transmission line allows for simple installation of up to twelve indoor units now

Y Series Standard (8hp-50hp)

Improved for even higher efficiency

The City Multi Y Series makes use of a two pipe refrigerant circuit throughout, with the choice of either Branch Pipe or Header Pipe feeds to indoor units, with manual changeover from cooling to heating to ensure that a constant indoor climate is maintained.
  • Wrap around coil for improved energy efficiency
  • Choice of Branch Pipe or Header Pipe feeds to indoor units
  • Energy-saving inverter driven outdoor compressor units with very low start currents
  • No requirement for plant rooms or bulky service shafts
  • Weight and size reduction compared to YGM-A models

Y Series Zubadan (8-20hp)

Zubadan sets a new standard in performance

The new City Multi Zubadan heat pumps achieve an excellent heating performance even when the outdoor air temperature is as low as -25ºC.
  • Stable Heating Performance - Full heating capacity at -15°C - a 40% capacity improvement over the standard YJM-A model
  • Expanded Heating Operation - Will work effectively even when the outdoor ambient air temperature is -25°C
  • Stable Operation - Utilising the new Flash Injection Circuit the Zubadan models have reduced defrost times and can provide continuous heating for up to 250 mins
  • Quick Start-Up - Full heating capacity is achieved in about 20 mins, improving comfort levels

Y Series Replace Multi (8-36hp)

Enables the replacement of VRF systems, whilst utilising existing R22 / R407c pipework.

The latest VRF Replace Multi from Mitsubishi Electric is specifically designed for the maturing refurbishment sector, enabling the reuse of existing R22 / R407c pipework, whilst also allowing the upgrade to some of the most efficient systems available in the market.

Replace Multi will clean the existing pipework during commissioning, removing any deposits and R22 mineral oil that would have ordinarily meant that new pipework would have been called for. The implications of this are significant savings on cost and time, whilst also minimising any potential disruption.

WY Series (8-36hp)

Heat Pump, Water Cooled Condensing Unit

The WY Series has all the benefits of the Y Series using water cooled condensing units. It is also able to produce heat recovery via the water circuit between heat source units, making for a very economical system. Like the YJM-A air source versions, the water cooled units now benefit from a modular design approach. A twinning kit is required for double combinations.
  • High COPs possible thanks to increased efficiency and careful control of the system, allowing the largest operational water circuit temperature band ever
  • 40% height reduction compared to previous YGM-A models
  • Combining WY with waste heat energy provides unique application solutions
  • Up to 50 indoor units can now be connected to each condensing unit
